Our Community
Through an extensive array of programs and strategic partnerships, Two Bridges supports and promotes a vibrant residential, business, and cultural life of the section of Lower Manhattan corresponding roughly to the boundaries of Community Board 3, and the eastern sections of Community Board 2. This service area encompasses many neighborhoods, across the Lower East Side, including Two Bridges, Chinatown, the East Village, Little Italy, Nolita, and the Bowery Corridor.

Two Bridges partners with other community-based organizations, tenant associations, business associations and educators to provide a wide range of services for area residents.
Chinatown Partnership LDC, formed in 2006 to bring residents, business owners and community groups together to rebuild Chinatown following 9/11, and to preserve the neighborhood’s unique culture while ensuring its vitality in the future.
GOLES (Good Old Lower East Side) is a neighborhood housing and preservation organization serving the Lower East Side.
Hamilton-Madison House provides social services and operates programs in the Two Bridges Senior Apartments and Two Bridges Tower.
Immigrant Social Services, Inc. operates an after-school program, family counseling services, and arts, athletic, and drug prevention programs for young people.
Settlement Housing Fund, Inc., is Two Bridges’ long-time partner in the development of the Two Bridges Urban Renewal Area.
